Clear PVC Cover

Clear PVC cover allows plants to absorb maximum sunlight throughout the day while insulating them from the cold at night. It also shields plants from the rain and wind, while helping protect them from snails, slugs and other garden pests.

Zipped Roll-Up Door

Designed with a roll-up door with zips on either side to open fully during the day and securely close at night. When rolled up, ties keep the door open, making it easy to tend to plants, increase ventilation and encourage pollination.

Strong & Sturdy Frame

Features a sturdy tubular steel frame with a rust-resistant powder coating, along with clip-on shelves to provide reliable support for flowers, plants and veg. The mesh shelves allow water to drain away freely, helping to prevent waterlogging.

Easy to Assemble

Simply slot the tubular steel poles into the plastic connectors to build the frame, then attach the shelves, place the cover over the top and use the ties to secure it. The greenhouse is also easy to disassemble for compact storage during the winter.

Where should you put a mini greenhouse?

Place a mini greenhouse in a sunny, sheltered spot to promote healthy plant growth. Position it flush against a wall or fence for extra wind protection and warmth on cooler nights, making sure it receives plenty of direct sunlight throughout the day. If possible, choose a south-facing position for maximum sunlight, although an east-facing spot will still provide plenty of morning sun.

How do you secure a mini greenhouse?

To secure a mini greenhouse on soft ground, peg the base of the frame down with garden staples or ground pegs. On hard ground, secure it to a wall or fence using eyebolts and galvanised wire for added stability. Weighing the base down with bricks or paving slabs will also reduce movement in strong winds. If the lower shelf isn’t in use, placing a sandbag on it also adds extra weight and stability.

Can you use a mini greenhouse in winter?

A mini greenhouse provides light insulation but won’t fully protect plants during heavy frost. If using during winter, replacing the standard cover with a fleece version helps shield plants from temperatures as low as -8°C. This makes it ideal for overwintering plants and protecting seedlings from frost. A fleece cover for the 4-tier greenhouse is available to purchase separately from Christow.
