These candles look great and the functions on the remote control a) work correctly and b) are useful. The candles are relaxing but I would not use 2 of the 3 in a silent room because they make an annoying clicking noise, even when the bulb is on its lowest brightness (and presumably warmth).
Update 19 Jan 2026: Christow Customer Services read this review and offered to replace my full set of candles. I was happy to accept their offer and I am now happy, both with the product and the outstanding customer service I received. Really impressive.

Lovely candles to look at but the tapping noise made by the flicker overrides this. Plus my timer only turned two out of the three candles off so am now turning them on and off myself daily, which isn’t major. Also when turning them off by the remote I have to press it a couple of times before they’re all switched off. I’m impressed at how realistic they look though, just the tapping noise is a bit irritating.

Very impressed by the flicker effect and the wax exterior- the flame makes a quiet ticking noise as it moves back and forth but it personally does not bother me. Instantly makes a place look more Christmas-y and can be left alone in a room unattended without the fear of burning the house down.
