While most parasols have 6 to 8 ribs, its canopy features 16 ribs, giving it a distinctive Shanghai-inspired look. Perfect for shading a two-seater bistro table, it has a 2-metre diameter and comes in a choice of modern colours, with a tilt function for all-day shade and sun protection.

Excellent UV Protection
Designed with a durable 180gsm polyester canopy which is water-resistant and fast drying. Rated UV30+ to provide excellent protection from harmful UV rays, it also has a vent to improve airflow and keep you cool while relaxing beneath it.
Crank & Tilt Function
The parasol has a smooth crank handle for easy operation – turn it clockwise to open the canopy or anticlockwise to close it. Thanks to a tilt mechanism, you can also angle the canopy up to 45 degrees for adjustable shade throughout the day.
Steel Pole, Fibreglass Ribs
With its tough powder-coated steel pole, our Shanghai parasol is stronger and heavier than an aluminium parasol for enhanced stability. The canopy ribs are made from strong, flexible fibreglass to help protect them from snapping in the wind.

Shanghai parasol requires a base to weigh it down. If you intend to use it with a table, our 11kg base is a perfect weight. If you're using it without a table, we recommend using one of our heavier bases.
